Shireen Mazari requests that UN establish Committee to probe human right violations in Occupied Kashmir


Islamabad: Minister for Human Rights Dr Shireen Mazari Wednesday requested that United Nations comprise an Independent Investigative Committee to test human right infringement being submitted in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK). 
Taking an interest in discourse on Kashmir in the Joint Session of Majlis-e-Shoora, she said "the UN committee would use all international forums to highlight the gravity of Kashmir situation."
She said "revoking status of Occupied Kashmir and backtracking from earlier international commitments by India, were unacceptable." 
"The annexation of disputed Kashmir would pave way for genocide and ethnic cleansing of Kashmiris," she included. 
Dr Shireen Mazari said "Indian move was also violation of Indian Supreme Court judgment."

The SC in its judgment unmistakably showed that Kashmir status couldn't be changed. 

She said "that the Indian attempt to change the status of Kashmir was not only illegal but also violation of Geneva Convention". 

She said "international community has already been informed that Pakistan would not remain silent if any misadventure was done against the country." 

Pakistan would attempt to gather crisis session of UNSC to talk about Kashmir circumstance, he included. 

Association of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) ought to be actuated to pressurize India to stay away from human right infringement in India, she said and included Pakistan must influence universal network to make a move and prevent India from human rights infringement. 
She said "the govt has composed a letter to UN High Commissioner for human rights infringement and advised of these infringement of human rights." 
India has obtrusively damaged United Nations Security Council (UNSC) goals, and Shimla agreement, she included. 

She said "Pakistan would stretch out ideal help to Kashmiris".
