Armed force warns of 'strong response' to any 'misfortune' by India: Asif Ghafoor


The Army's media wing on Friday expelled an announcement made by the Indian Chinar corps leader — in which he blamed Pakistan for being "involved in disrupting the peace in Kashmir Valley" — as "usual blatant lies". 

Chinar Corps Commander Lt Gen Kanwal Jeet Singh Dhillon, during a cooperation with journalists, was inquired as to whether he suspected Pakistan would "increase their attempts to try and spoil the law and order situation in the Valley". 

"Pakistan Army and Pakistan have always been involved in disrupting the peace in Kashmir Valley. So I would like to believe that they are good enough to do it and recently there's been statements which have come up in which they are openly threatening about certain incidents in the Valley,"  Dhillon had reacted. "Despite we will deal with every one of them, let anybody come and attempt and disturb the harmony in Valley, we will have him wiped out." 
Executive General (DG) Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor, in a tweet partook in the early long stretches of Friday, named the announcement "an attempt to carve out casus belli for a misadventure to divert world attention from precarious situation & atrocities in [Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir] IOJ&K".
'Casus belli' is a Latin articulation signifying "a demonstration or occasion that incites or is utilized to legitimize war". 

Ghafoor included that while Indian involved Kashmir was confronting a media power outage, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) was available to the outside media and the United Nations Military Observers bunch in India and Pakistan (UNMOGIP) could visit spots of their decision in AJK. 

"Can you do the same?" he asked Lt Gen Dhillon.


In a resulting tweet, Ghafoor said that Pakistan would react to any endeavor of "misfortune" by the Indian Army with a reaction "considerably more grounded" than on February 27, when the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) had shot down Indian air ship inside Pakistani airspace and caught a pilot. 

Gen Ghafoor included: "Thousands of Indian troops have failed to suppress just struggle of brave Kashmiris for decades. Current surge won’t succeed either".


India this week denied Article 370, which gave involved Kashmir a self-sufficient status, and enacted to bifurcate the Valley into Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir. 

In light of New Delhi's transition to add involved Kashmir, Pakistan on Wednesday made plans to minimize political relations with India and suspend all reciprocal exchange. 

India, nonetheless, has named it an "internal matter" and requested that Pakistan survey its choice. In the interim, an interchanges power outage and security clampdown forced late Sunday in involved Kashmir entered its fifth day on Friday. 

By Thursday, Indian security forces had captured in excess of 500 individuals.
