Mehbooba Mufti: 'Darkest day in Indian democracy'


Involved SRINAGAR: Former boss pastor of IoK Mehbooba Mufti said the transition to scrap Article 370 by the BJP government was the "darkest day in Indian democracy". 

Mufti was responding to the most recent improvement in regards to the status of the involved domain. 

"Unilateral decision of GOI (government of India) to scrap Article 370 is illegal & unconstitutional which will make India an occupational force in J&K (Jammu and Kashmir)," she said after Home Minister Amit Shah told the parliament that the president has issued the declaration with this effect. 

Preceding this advancement, New Delhi forced a security lockdown on IoK in the early long periods of Monday in the wake of sending a huge number of troops in the previous week, guaranteeing there was a fear danger. 

Both the former chief ministers Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti and the Hurriyet authority were put under house arrest.
