Govt increases petrol price by Rs 5.15 per liter to Rs117.83


The central government Wednesday expanded the prices of all petroleum based commodities for the period of August. 

Supporting the proposals of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) for the present month (August), the administration has expanded the price of oil by Rs5.15 per liter and Rs5.65 for High Speed Diesel (HSD). So also, the price of lamp fuel was expanded by Rs5.38 and Rs8.90 for Light Diesel Oil (LDO). 

The price of petroleum rose to Rs117.83 per liter from Rs112.68. Moreover, the pace of HSD was expanded to Rs132.47 per liter from Rs126.82. 

So also, the ex-depot price of LDO has been fixed at Rs97.52 per liter — up the past pace of Rs88.62. The lamp fuel price was expanded to Rs103.84 per liter from Rs98.46. 

Prior on Tuesday, Ogra had moved a synopsis to the government containing calculations on petroleum prices based on higher general deals assessment and petroleum levy. 

A month ago, the prices of petroleum based commodities were unaltered, while in same month Pakistan began accepting month to month oil supplies worth $275 million from Saudi Arabia on conceded installment. Under this course of action, Pakistan would get this oil office as much as $9.9 billion throughout the following three years.
