Pakistan observes martyrdom anniversary of PAF pilot Rashid Minhas


Karachi: Pakistan is observes martyrdom anniversary of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) pilot Rashid Minhas. 

Conceived on February 17, 1951, he remains the most youthful official to get the Nishan-e-Haider grant and was the principal beneficiary of the most astounding honor of courage for the PAF. 

On August 20, 1971, as a pilot still under preparing, Rashid was exhausting out a T-33 Jet mentor for take-off, when a Bengali pilot teacher, Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman, constrained his way into the back cockpit. 

In mid-air Rahman thumped Minhas out, held onto control of the flying machine and headed towards India. 

Rashid did the main thing inside his control and constrained the plane to crash only 32 miles from the Indian fringe, giving up his life for the honor of Pakistan.
