Head administrator Imran Khan on Wednesday chose to move occupant Sindh Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Kaleem Imam to the post of Secretary Narcotics Division of the government, announced Geo News.
The choice was taken at a gathering between PM Imran and Sindh IGP Imam in Islamabad. During the gathering, the region's top cop advised the chief in regards to the peace circumstance over the area.
The bureaucratic bureau had on Tuesday postponed the arrangement of another Inspector-General Police (IGP) Sindh after the administration's partners communicated "profound reservations" over the choice.
The bureau's choice came a day after PM Imran and Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah met to examine the arrangement of another Sindh IGP.
The national government had before scorned a solicitation from Sindh to evacuate Imam, saying he keep on filling in as IGP until further notification.
PM Imran in a telephonic conversation with Sindh CM on Tuesday, passed on the government bureau's choice of conceding the arrangement of Sindh's preferred applicant Mushtaq Mehr as the IG.
In his reaction, the CM told the leader that it is unimaginable to expect to alter the board of officials previously submitted to the government any longer.
The Sindh government has as of now twice sent altered boards for the IG to the Establishment Division.
The main board contained names of BPS 21 officials including Ghulam Thebo, Mushtaq Mehr, Kamran Afzal, and Sanaullah Abbasi. Later it was corrected to incorporate one more name of BPS 21 official Inamur Rehman.
