Reasons behind why Taylor Swift skipped Grammys 2020

A US week by week has uncovered the explanation for Taylor Swift's nonappearance from Grammy Awards 2020 . 

As per the report, "You Need to Calm Down" vocalist was with her mom who has a mind tumor and whose malignant growth has returned. It said the artist was never affirmed to perform at the Grammys. 

“Taylor was at Sundance [Film Festival in Utah] a few days before the Grammys for the premiere of her documentary," the report cited an unnamed source as saying.

The source additionally said the vocalist decided not to go to Grammys after its CEO Deborah Dugan was "terminated for raising issues with respect to unlawful sex segregation, lewd behavior, unlawful counter and inconsistent compensation." 

Prior, reports were doing the rounds that Taylor Swift avoided the Grammys in light of the fact that she needed to ensure she'd win first. The reports were later dismissed by her delegates. 

“These statements made by anonymous, unidentified ‘sources’ are absolutely, 100 percent false and laughable. She just didn’t go to the Grammys. You guys need to calm down,”  an announcement gave by her agents said.
